Cross-marketplace alerts, unlimited variants, in-stock notifications, and the biggest upgrade TCGSniper has ever shipped.

We just shipped the largest update in TCGSniper's history.

Not a UI refresh. Not a new settings page. A fundamental change to how the product works.

The short version:
TCGSniper now monitors Card Kingdom, tracks unlimited variants per alert, detects when sold-out cards come back in stock, and is smarter about when it notifies you.

If you've been using TCGSniper for a while, simply edit your existing alerts and select "Card Kingdom" to start watching. If you have too many, drop us a line or chat live and we can help.

Here's what changed and why.

๐Ÿฐ Card Kingdom Support

This was the most requested feature we had. By a lot.

"I cancelled because I'm trying to avoid using TCGPlayer. If your site starts to support other websites I would likely resubscribe."
"Card Kingdom and others would be awesome! I know how much work it is, but I think you have something that could be huge. Keep it up!"

In our signup survey, nearly 1 in 4 users said they check Card Kingdom when buying cards. It's the third most popular marketplace behind TCGPlayer and eBay.

So we built it.

Search for any Magic: The Gathering card and you'll see prices from TCGPlayer and Card Kingdom side by side. Set one alert and it monitors both. When the price drops on either site, you know.

This isn't a thin integration. We pull Card Kingdom's live catalog, map their condition grades to the standard format you're used to, estimate shipping, and check prices on the same 15-minute cycle as TCGPlayer. It's a full store connector, not a bolt-on.

๐Ÿ” Search and URL Paste (Finally)

"I'd say the search function is a priority... the app/site would be 10000% more usable without cut and paste."

Two things here:

  1. Search by name returns results from every supported marketplace at once. One query, every store.
  2. Paste a URL from TCGPlayer or Card Kingdom and TCGSniper identifies the product, finds equivalents on other marketplaces, and lets you set an alert from there. ย One search, full coverage.

โ™พ๏ธ One Alert, Unlimited Variants

This is probably the biggest quality-of-life change, especially on the free tier.

Previously, tracking Near Mint and Lightly Played of the same card cost you two alerts. NM Foil and NM Non-Foil? Two more. Four alerts for one card, all counting against your limit.

Not anymore.

Now one alert covers every variant you care about. Conditions, printings, languages - add as many as you want. Only unique products count toward your limit. Variants are free and unlimited

In practice: if you had 15 alerts before and they were really 5 cards with 3 variants each, you just went from maxed out to using 5 of 15. Same plan, way more capacity.

๐Ÿ“ฆ In-Stock Alerts

This one wasn't on the original roadmap. Users discovered it organically, and it turned out to be one of the most useful things TCGSniper does.

Here's how it works: TCGSniper only alerts you when there's actually something to buy. If a card is out of stock, no alert fires. Set an alert on a sold-out card and you'll get notified the moment it's back in stock at your price, on any marketplace.

What actually matters here is how this compares to marketplace wishlists. Card Kingdom's wishlist, for example, blasts every user on the list simultaneously when a card restocks. That creates a race condition where most people lose. And if you miss it, you have to manually re-add the card.

TCGSniper alerts are personal (yours, not shared with thousands), persistent (stays active if you miss the window), and price-aware (only fires at or below your target). No re-adding. No racing.

This is especially useful for sold-out chase cards, Reserved List staples, and anything with thin supply on Card Kingdom.

๐Ÿ˜ด Intelligent Snoozing

If you ever forgot to re-enable an alert after it triggered... that's fixed.

TCGSniper now uses intelligent snoozing. After we notify you about a price drop, we won't ping you again for that alert unless the price actually changes and still meets your target.

  • Card drops to $10 and stays there? One alert. That's it.
  • Price bounces back to $15 and drops to $8 next week? Fresh alert.
  • Card goes out of stock and comes back? Fresh alert.

Every notification means something happened. No noise. No repeats.

๐Ÿ“Š Live Prices on Your Dashboard

Your dashboard is smarter now. Every alert shows:

  • The current lowest price across all marketplaces
  • Per-marketplace pricing so you can see where the best deal is
  • Out-of-stock indicators per marketplace

It's not just a list of alerts anymore. It's a live price tracker for your collection.

๐Ÿ”’ Your Existing Alerts Are Safe

If you had alerts set up before this update, they've been automatically upgraded to the new system. Your target prices, your products, your settings - everything carried over. You don't need to do anything.

Your alerts are now compatible with Card Kingdom too (for Magic: The Gathering products), and your variants have been consolidated so you're likely using fewer of your alert slots than before. Log in and take a look.

๐Ÿ”ฎ What's Next

Card Kingdom is our second supported marketplace. It won't be the last.

We're already working on adding a third marketplace to TCGSniper. We'll share more details soon, but the architecture is built for this. Every new marketplace we add makes every alert you set more powerful.

If there's a marketplace you want to see supported, tell us in Discord. We're listening. (Obviously.)
