# TCGSniper

> TCGSniper is a multi-marketplace price drop alert service for trading card game collectors and players. Users search for a product by name or paste a URL from any supported marketplace (TCGPlayer, Card Kingdom, and more coming soon), customize which variants they care about (condition, foil, language), and set a target price. TCGSniper monitors prices across marketplaces and sends a notification (email, SMS, or Discord DM) when the price drops to or below that target. ## How TCGSniper Works

TCGSniper automates the process of watching for price drops across multiple TCG marketplaces so users don't have to manually refresh listings, check multiple sites, or maintain spreadsheets.

**Setup in 3 steps:**

1. **Search or paste a URL** - Find any TCG product by name using cross-marketplace search, or paste a URL from TCGPlayer, Card Kingdom, or any supported marketplace.
2. **Customize your variants** - Choose which variants you care about: condition (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.), foil/non-foil, and language. Add as many variants as you want. They don't count toward your alert limit.
3. **Set your desired price** - Set your target price, choose whether to include shipping, and TCGSniper monitors across marketplaces and alerts you when the price drops.

**What happens next:** TCGSniper checks prices frequently across all supported marketplaces. When a price drop matches your alert, you receive a notification via your chosen channel(s). You can then go directly to the marketplace to purchase the product at the lower price.

**Intelligent snoozing:** After you're notified about a price drop, TCGSniper won't re-notify you for the same alert unless the price changes again and still meets your requirements. This means no repeated notifications for the same price, and every alert is actionable.

**In-stock alerts:** TCGSniper only sends an alert when there is actually something to buy. If a product is out of stock on a marketplace, no alert fires. Users can set an alert on a sold-out product and effectively get a "back in stock" notification when that product becomes available again at or below their target price. Unlike marketplace wishlists (which blast every user simultaneously and require manual re-adding), TCGSniper alerts are personal, persistent, and price-aware.
